The good news is that we keep growing. The basement is the next step in the progress of Bluegrass Christian School. When the basement is finished it will include our own chapel, lunchroom, nurse's station and computer/media lab, not to mention enough classrooms to house our middle and high school students. We have made the decision that to be good stewards of God’s money we want to continue the growth of the school without going into more debt. Thankfully, things have been progressing. The concrete has been finished, the walls are framed and the electrical work has been started. Our next big step is the heating and cooling system. We ask that you would help us by praying for God to help us find the funds to finish the basement. We need to raise $200,000 to make this happen. If you are able to help financially, your donation would be tax deductible. So, please keep the school in your prayers and if God puts it on your heart to help in any way, please contact Will Bondurant.
Bluegrass Christian School has been blessed in so many different ways. We thank God everyday for the new building that He has helped us build. Even more so, we are thankful for the staff and students that make this building the wonderful school that it is. We believe that our students will be able to grow in their faith and academically in ways that we may never know, thanks to this new building.
We plan to keep you updated with the status of the basement construction and funding on this page. Photos of the progress will be added soon, but for now here is the floorplan. Check back soon for more information.
